Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, has arrived in Azerbaijan, APA reports, citing the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan.
“Azerbaijan is a valued and reliable energy partner for the European Union, so it’s good to be in Baku today,” Kallas said.
According to her, there is clear scope to deepen the cooperation, particularly on trade, transport, and digital technologies.
“Of course, open and candid dialogue on human rights remains an integral part of our engagement,” the EU official added.
