President of the European Council Antonio Costa congratulated the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on the peace achieved at the meeting of the 7th Summit of the European Political Community, APA reports.
"I want to congratulate the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia. I believe that the peace you have achieved is a significant moment for our Europe. It shows that peace is possible and that we must do our part for the sake of peace," he said.
French President Emmanuel Macron also congratulated the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
