Ersin Tatar: We have always felt the support of the President of Azerbaijan

“Today, it is a great honor for me to participate in this ceremony together with you in Azerbaijan. Thank you for awarding me this high honor. This is a historic moment for me,” said the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar, during his speech at Azerbaijan Technical University, APA reports.

He stated that in recent years, with the strengthening of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and after the Karabakh victory, they have always felt the support of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev.

“We have sometimes observed hesitations among our friendly countries. However, Mr. Ilham Aliyev has always shown firm support for Northern Cyprus alongside Türkiye. We are one nation, three states,” Ersin Tatar added.

He also noted that events held within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States further strengthen this unity:

“Tomorrow, I will participate in an event in Karabakh. Once again, I thank dear Azerbaijan and its people.”

Note that during his visit to Azerbaijan, Ersin Tatar, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Diploma by Azerbaijan Technical University.
