Ersin Tatar calls on Turkic states to recognize the TRNC and accept it as member of the OTS

The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar has called on the Turkic States to recognize the TRNC and accept it as a member of the Turkic States Organization, APA's correspondent in Bishkek reports.

According to the report, Ersin Tatar, speaking at the 11th Summit of the Heads of State of the TNC, said that with the membership of the TRNC, the relations of the Turkic world with the Mediterranean will be further strengthened.

Ersin Tatar emphasized that the seaports and airports of the TRNC will play an important role in the development of trade relations of the Turkic states: "The TRNC has a strategic position in the Mediterranean and we are ready to offer our capabilities to brotherly states. The support of the Turkic states in the recognition of the TRNC will be of great importance."

Ersin Tatar also drew attention to the development of education in the TRNC and stressed that they are ready for cooperation in this area.
