“We must accelerate the formation of a common Turkic alphabet,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the 12th Summit Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Turkic Council, APA's correspondent dispatched to Gabala reports.

He stated that they are publishing works about Chingiz Aytmatov and the Oghuznamas with the common alphabet and that today they will present a copy of it to the leaders here: “I propose December 15 to be established as the Common Turkic Language Day.”
