President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has full support in all directions regarding the issue of a common alphabet, Kürşat Zorlu, Deputy Chairman and Member of Parliament from Türkiye’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), who participated in the 100th anniversary event of the First Turkology Congress held in Baku, told APA.
He said that in the coming period, just as relations are being strengthened in various fields, numerous steps should also be taken to further reinforce communication and implement the common alphabet:
“Today, a new stage already stands before us. Because the Organization of Turkic States now exists, and this creates broader opportunities for our cooperation. We understand each other without any intermediary. Because we belong to the same family. The strength of the 300-million-strong Turkic world lies precisely in this unity. After the Karabakh victory, Azerbaijan continues its activities in this direction, and as Türkiye, we stand by our brotherly country to the end.”
