The United States strongly condemns the drone attacks carried out by Iran against Nakhchivan on March 5 and expresses full solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan, US Embassy in Azerbaijan stated, APA reports.
The US Embassy in Azerbaijan is closely monitoring developments and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured as a result of the attack.
It should be noted that yesterday drone attacks were carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. One drone struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, while another fell near a school building in the village of Shakarabad. The airport building was damaged and four people were injured.
