Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Baku Hugo Guevara met with Chief Executive Officer of Mine Action Group Darren Cormack, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the U.S. Embassy posted on its X account, APA reports.
“The United States supports Azerbaijan’s demining efforts. The United States partners with MAG and ANAMA for a safer Azerbaijan by increasing local capacity to clear deadly landmines and dangerous unexploded ordnance.
We look forward to a future where Azerbaijanis can live throughout the country safely and children play freely, without fear of landmines,” – was noted.
