Ambassador Emiel de Bont and the embassy staff were evacuated a short while ago through the Azerbaijan border.
Ambassador Emiel de Bont expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for ensuring a safe evacuation.
In addition, during the day, 9 Algerian diplomats, 13 Azerbaijani citizens, 13 Chinese citizens, 2 U.S. citizens, 1 Canadian citizen, 2 citizens of the Russian Federation, and 1 Finnish diplomat were evacuated through the Astara state border checkpoint.
