Disinformation is not strong enough to affect the deep ties between our countries, Head of the Cybersecurity Directorate of the President of Türkiye Ümit Önal said in an interview with APA’s Türkiye bureau.
Ümit Önal noted that the recent spread of disinformation and fake news does not cause concern.
He emphasized that such news is not taken seriously at the level of states and societies:
“There are very strong, historical, and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. For this reason, fake news and disinformation are not powerful enough to affect these ties. Such information is not taken seriously either at the societal or state level. Therefore, I do not think such news will cause any harm to our relations. Our brotherhood is permanent and strong,” he said.
