"Azerbaijan–Russia relations will continue to develop in a spirit of alliance," said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, during his speech at the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia held in the city of Zangilan, APA reports.
“We are confident that our relations will continue to develop in a spirit of friendship, mutual trust, and alliance in accordance with the 2022 Declaration,” he said.
Mustafayev noted that in this regard, the results of the meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia held on October 9 last year in the city of Dushanbe are of particular importance.
He emphasized that the meeting opened a new chapter in bilateral cooperation and defined priorities for future development.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the regular nature of high-level contacts clearly demonstrates the parties’ interest in further strengthening mutually beneficial partnership.
“I am confident that within the framework of the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held today, we will maintain the positive dynamics of our dialogue and continue to develop the agreements reached,” he stressed.
