"The Republic of Azerbaijan remains committed to the principles of good-neighborliness, mutual understanding, and equal partnership in its relations with both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation," Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, said at a trilateral meeting of government representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Iran held in Baku, APA reports.
Shahin Mustafayev expressed confidence that Azerbaijan’s multifaceted relations with both countries will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation — both bilaterally and trilaterally — and will gain new depth and content.
“I would like to emphasize the importance of further developing and strengthening interstate relations based on the principles of mutual respect and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs,” he added.
