"Article 9 of the agreement initialed on August 8, 2025, was also dedicated to determining the fate of missing persons at Azerbaijan's initiative," Elnur Mammadov stressed.

The deputy foreign minister stated that Azerbaijan has supported initiatives and projects aimed at locating missing persons within the frameworks of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international organizations, and will continue to do so.
