The Czech Republic’s ambassador to Iran commented on the drone attack by Iran on Azerbaijan’s civilian facilities, APA’s southern bureau reports.
Ambassador Vitezslav Grepl, who was evacuated today through the Astara state border checkpoint, emphasized that Azerbaijan is a peace-loving country and expressed deep regret over the incident.
“I am very sorry about this. I have been to Azerbaijan before. Azerbaijan is a peace-loving country. I see no reason for such an attack to take place. I am truly very saddened by this,” he said.
