The Global Baku Forum once again confirms Azerbaijan’s commitment to open and constructive dialogue, Costa Rica’s First Vice President Francisco Gamboa stated during the opening ceremony of the 13th Global Baku Forum, APA reports.

“For Costa Rica, it is a great honor to participate in the Global Baku Forum. I would like to sincerely thank President Ilham Aliyev for receiving us. This gesture once again confirms Azerbaijan’s commitment to open and constructive dialogue at a time when the international system is facing complex challenges. This forum has strategic significance,” Francisco Gamboa emphasized.

Gamboa noted that the world is currently experiencing a period marked by rising geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainties, and a crisis of legitimacy in multilateral institutions.

“In this context, the platform offered by Azerbaijan and the Nizami Ganjavi International Center is invaluable. Participants representing different ideological, political, economic, and geostrategic perspectives can find common ground, rebuild trust, and work on mutually beneficial solutions. Costa Rica reaffirms its strong belief that peace, diplomacy, and respect for international law must always prevail,” he added.
