“The development of the Middle Corridor offers strategic opportunities. The completion of the Baku–Nakhchivan railway project is also a very important element. This will create a sustainable route between Europe and Asia," said President of the European Council António Costa during a press statement with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
António Costa emphasized that this project will create new jobs and strengthen the economies of countries, adding: “We share Azerbaijan’s vision of a prosperous and interconnected South Caucasus.”
