"COP29 successfully concluded in Baku two days ago," the Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, said during today's parliament plenary session, APA reports
The Speaker noted that much will be said about the event's contributions to global efforts in addressing the problem of climate change: “Azerbaijan has strengthened its image as a leader. As part of COP29, a Parliamentary Meeting was held on November 16-17 as well. The event was attended by 95 delegations from 67 countries, meaning 345 parliamentary representatives.”
