"Armenia needs to come to its senses. That is the first thing it must do," said Hulusi Akar, Chairman of the National Defense Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) and former Minister of Defense, in his statement to journalist after the second meeting of the defense and security committee chairs of TURKPA member parliaments, held in the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
He emphasized that the victory in Karabakh was achieved through the "One Homeland" movement, and freedom was restored: "The three-colored Azerbaijani flag is waving in Shusha. Armenia must quickly come to terms with reality and accept these facts. Armenia must accept the peace hand extended by Azerbaijan as soon as possible. A peace agreement should be signed quickly, and peace should soon come to the region. This is our goal. The violations of the ceasefire by Armenia at the Azerbaijani borders are futile efforts. This cannot lead to anything."
