“Azerbaijan invites everyone to spiritual unity. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who has made special efforts in encouraging the universality of Islamic values worldwide, is making wise decisions in this direction,” he added.
CMO Chairman said that Islam is the religion of peace and tranquility: “Using Islam as a provocation is unacceptable. We express our strong objection to statements that lead to national-religious conflicts and fight against those who deliberately distort religious values.”
