CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay hails the initialing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The Secretary General told APA that peace and stability in the South Caucasus create broad opportunities for implementing major economic projects.
“When I first met with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, I thanked him because his efforts have reduced one of the conflicts in the South Caucasus. Thus, Azerbaijan can now focus on a constructive and peaceful policy. Peace and stability in the South Caucasus open broad opportunities for implementing large economic projects. Therefore, the peace achieved between the two countries will contribute not only to regional but also global cooperation,” the Secretary-General emphasized.
