"I congratulate Azerbaijan for organizing COP29 at such a high level," Tanzila Narbaeva, Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, said during the Parliamentary Meeting organized jointly by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan within the framework of COP29, APA reports.
She emphasized that financing the climate change process is one of the key issues: "High-level connections must be established between parliaments. We should support joint research and exchange of experiences. As parliaments, we must engage in broad discussions."
