The restoration and reconstruction work in Azerbaijan's liberated territories made us happy, said chairman of the "Youth Assistance for Turkmens" volunteer movement in Iraq, Ismail Bayoglu, in an interview with APA during the "Turkmen Heritage: Solidarity of Civil Societies" Forum held in Baku, APA reports.
“We came to the forum from Kirkuk, Iraq. We visited the liberated territories, including Shusha. We saw the atrocities and destruction committed by Armenians on those lands. They destroyed houses, schools, and burned down everything. However, witnessing the restoration and reconstruction work carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories made us happy. Today is a day of unity and solidarity. If the Turkic world stands together, no one can defeat us. I thank the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the people of Azerbaijan for organizing this forum,” he said.
