Chairman of Committee of Parliament of Malaysia: Armenia should benefit from Azerbaijan and Türkiye's economic development

"Armenia should benefit from the economic development of Azerbaijan and Türkiye," said Wong Chen, Chairman of the Select Committee for International Relations and Trade of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia at the International Parliamentary Conference on "Parliamentarism: Traditions and Prospects", APA reports.

Wong Chen said that representatives of many religions can live together in Malaysia: "The reason and the key for this is clear, there must be economic growth. In order for people to respect each other and live together in harmony, it is necessary to achieve economic development in the region so that both Azerbaijan and Armenia can benefit from this development. If Armenia can benefit from the economic development of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, it will understand this. The consequences of the conflict in Ukraine have also affected the development of Armenia. Therefore, economic development must be achieved."
