At the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), a call was made regarding Azerbaijan’s 4,000 missing persons, APA reports.
Within the framework of the 80th session of the UN, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov participated in a high-level meeting on the topic: “Missing Persons in Armed Conflicts: Expanding the Search for Answers.”
In his statement, the Deputy Minister drew attention to the fate of nearly 4,000 Azerbaijanis who went missing as a result of Armenia’s aggression, and called for increased international efforts to ensure truth and justice.
