"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is taking the lead in resolving the long-standing Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict," former Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said during a side event titled “Multilateralism at a Crossroads: Challenges and the Path to Peace” organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, APA’s correspondent in New York reports.
“We must learn from good practices. The European Union shows the way to create prosperity and peace, while the African Union brings nations and generations together through mediation and continental cooperation. This approach promotes the spirit of multilateralism and encourages dialogue, understanding and development of opportunities between regions,” Binali Yildirim noted.
