On April 30 – May 1, an international Youth Forum titled “Strengthening the Role of Youth in the Post-Colonial Era” will be held in Baku, organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), APA reports, citing BIG.
The forum will bring together young diplomats, experts, students, and representatives of public organizations from 17 countries. Discussions will focus on combating the effects of colonialism and neocolonialism, developing international cooperation mechanisms, and strengthening solidarity among youth.
The agenda will also cover issues such as the right to self-determination, accelerating the decolonization process, socio-economic challenges, migration, limited access to education, and the long-term impacts of colonialism.
