Baku Initiative Group presents comprehensive annual report

Baku Initiative Group has presented its comprehensive annual report, APA reports.

During the presentation of the report titled Stolen Prosperity: How Colonialism Stifled Economic Freedom in Overseas Territories, it was stated that the document was prepared taking into consideration the global and contemporary relevance of the topic of colonialism.

The report highlights the current challenges, and socio-economic and legal issues faced by regions suffering from colonialism.

It was emphasized that the report aims to raise awareness on the topic, initiate discussions, and encourage the international community to take collective action toward resolving these problems.

The Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, Abbas Abbasov, noted that the report places special emphasis on environmental issues and the hindrance of economic development in regions affected by colonialism.
