Baku hosts 3rd meeting of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Expert Council -PHOTO

The third meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Expert Council was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR) Farid Shafiyev, head of the Kazakhstan Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkin Tukumov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel, Counselor of the Azerbaijan Republic Embassy in Kazakhstan Rovshan Kazimov via video link, and other officials participated at the meeting.

Farid Shafiyev, speaking at the opening of the event, called the recent visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Azerbaijan very significant and emphasized its importance for the development of the relations between the two countries.

According to Shafiyev, brother Kazakhstan also has a great role in reconstruction and construction works in the Garabagh region after Azerbaijan ensured its territorial integrity. Alim Bayel, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, touching upon the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29 to be held this year, said that President of Kazakhstan Kasim Jomart Tokayev is invited to that event and his participation in such a prestigious event will play an important role in the development of inter-country relations.
