Within the framework of the 13th Global Baku Forum, the Southeast Europe and Trans-Caspian Business Summit organized by The Economist magazine was held, APA reports.
The summit discussed the ongoing war in the Middle East and its geopolitical and economic impacts on the international community, as well as strengthening strategic partnerships through effective investments during times of crisis and the admission of new members to the European Union.
Participants also shared their views and proposals on the Middle Corridor and, in this context, Central Asia, the security of regional transit projects, potential risks, measures that could be taken to eliminate threats, and Azerbaijan’s possible contributions to these issues.
Speakers also addressed the uncertainty created by the ongoing war in the Middle East, its possible outcomes, the regional and international energy markets in the post-war period, the risks faced by investments in the region if the war continues, and other related issues.
