Azerbaijan’s State Security Service and China’s Ministry of Public Security sign cooperation agreement

At the invitation of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), a delegation headed by Chief of the State Security Service (SSS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Ali Naghiyev, has visited Lianyungang city in China’s Jiangsu Province, APA reports, citing the Press Service of the State Security Service.

As part of the visit, the delegation participated in the 5th Global Public Security Cooperation Forum, attended by high-ranking officials representing various countries and international organizations.

At the event, where issues related to combating terrorism, strengthening international partnerships, applying new technologies in this field and improving governance mechanisms were discussed, a final document titled “2026 Action Plan on Global Counter-Terrorism” was adopted.

At the end of the meeting, an Agreement on cooperation in the field of ensuring security was signed between the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China.
