On February 18, the III Caspian Economic Forum was held in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.
According to the information, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has discussed the issue of the Caspian Sea's shallowing, transport corridors, and regional security matters at the Third Caspian Economic Forum.
The forum participants first visited the Innovations and Technologies House within the framework of the Tehran International Exhibition.
Then, the heads of government of the Caspian countries held talks in a limited format. The discussions addressed several important issues related to five-party cooperation in the Caspian.
Later, the plenary session of the III Caspian Economic Forum took place.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov, speaking at the session, stated that the Caspian Economic Forum is an important platform for discussing relevant issues of economic and trade cooperation between the Caspian countries.
The Communiqué of the III Caspian Economic Forum was adopted following the conclusion of the plenary session.
