Azerbaijan's Parliament Speaker pays a working visit to Malaysia

On September 16, a delegation of the Azerbaijani Parliament led by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova paid a working visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) told APA.

At Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by the Senate Vice President Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed, Senate Secretary Muhd Sujairi bin Abdullah, House of Representatives Secretary Nizam Maydin bin Bacha Maydin, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Malaysia Irfan Davudov, and other officials.

During the visit, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis will participate in the 46th General Assembly session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Sahiba Gafarova is scheduled to deliver a speech at the session and hold a series of meetings with the heads of parliamentary delegations attending the event.
