Today, the draft law "On the approval of the "Host Country Agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations for 13th session of World Urban Forum in 2026 in Baku" was put to discussion at the meeting held in Milli Majlis, APA reports.
The draft law was put into discussion and approved in one reading.
Note that by the relevant decision of the UN adopted in 2001, this Forum, which is held every two years in one of the cities of the world with the most respected and large-scale participation in the field of urban planning, is the largest global platform to study rapid urbanization and its impact on the development of cities.
