Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Azerbaijan Hisham Mohamed Nagy Abdel Hamid, the ministry has released information in this regard, APA reports.
Welcoming the ambassador, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov recalled the close relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt in various fields, which are based on many years of experience. In this context, the Minister expressed his confidence that today's meeting will be useful in terms of developing relations between the relevant agencies of the two countries in combating emergencies.
A wide exchange of views was held at the meeting on issues of mutual interest.
