Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, Anar Guliyev, delivered a speech at the closing session of the High-Level Dialogue on “Adequate Housing for All” held within the framework of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) High-Level Political Forum in New York, the Committee told APA.
Anar Guliyev stated that the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), to be held in Baku in 2026 under the theme “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities,” will become one of the key global platforms for in-depth discussions on urban planning and housing policy.
He noted that the forum will provide broad opportunities for the exchange of advanced strategies, innovative financing mechanisms, inclusive planning approaches, and sustainable construction practices aimed at expanding access to adequate, affordable, and climate-resilient housing.
