Azerbaijan’s humanitarian aid has reached Ukraine, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Ukraine, Seymur Mardaliyev, said in an X post, APA reports.
"Today, the humanitarian aid in line with the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated 11 August 2025, reached Ukraine and has been handed over by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine to Ukrainian officials from the Ministry of Energy. It contains electrical equipment to support Ukraine’s energy capacity," the Ambassador noted.
Note that, according to the decree signed last month by President Ilham Aliyev, $2 million (in the manat equivalent) from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025 has been allocated to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan for the purchase and delivery of electrical equipment produced in Azerbaijan as humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
