Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister: No final positive decision regarding Armenia's fulfillment of its obligations on Zangezur corridor

"Azerbaijan is rapidly continuing work on its territory regarding the opening of the Zangezur corridor, significant portion of the railway construction has already been completed. Work on the remaining part is ongoing," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters, APA reports.

The minister said that at the same time, in accordance with the agreement reached with Iran, works on the construction of a bridge over the Araz River and the implementation of a route between the western territory of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan via Iran is ongoing.

Jeyhun Bayramov also emphasized that Armenia's fulfillment of its obligations and the opening of a corridor through its territory along a short route depend on Armenia's full implementation of the agreement: "There is no final positive decision regarding this."
