Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, APA reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
The meeting, held within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, highlighted the importance of intensifying dialogue between Azerbaijan and Estonia through political consultations and reciprocal visits, and discussed opportunities to expand bilateral relations.
Minister Bayramov briefed his Estonian counterpart on Azerbaijan’s peacebuilding efforts in the region, including the normalization process with Armenia and the outcomes of the Washington summit.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to deepen cooperation in bilateral and multilateral frameworks, including at the UN and other international platforms.
