The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with Qatar's newly appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mohammed Hamad Saad Al Fuhaid AlHajri, the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov welcomed Ambassador Mohammed Hamad Saad Al Fuhaid AlHajri, congratulated him on his appointment as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan, and wished him success in his tenure.
The Minister also highlighted the participation of the Qatari delegation in COP29, which was successfully hosted by Azerbaijan in November under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, and noted the historic achievements of the event.
The meeting included a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
