Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich, the ministry told APA.
Congratulating the guest on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov recalled that the rapid and comprehensive development of Azerbaijan-Belarus relations, historically based on the principles of friendship and mutual respect, in recent years has been based on the far-sighted policy and mutual trust of the heads of both states.
Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
