Azerbaijan’s Emergency Situations Minister meets Belarus architecture and construction minister at WUF13

Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with Belarusian Minister of Architecture and Construction Aleksandr Studnev, who is visiting Azerbaijan within the framework of the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.

The meeting touched upon the significance of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, successfully hosted by Baku, and expressed confidence that the participation of the Belarusian delegation in this prestigious event would make an important contribution to strengthening close friendship and cooperation between the two countries, as well as to the exchange of experience.

It was emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are rapidly developing thanks to the far-sighted policies of the leaders of the two countries based on mutual respect and trust, and that there is great potential for further expanding cooperation between the relevant institutions of the two countries in the fields of construction and safety.

The meeting also included a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
