On April 8, 2025, the government mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev, paid a visit to the Republic of Guinea at the invitation of the other party in order to establish and expand bilateral political, economic, humanitarian and other cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Guinea, APA reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
During the visit, Yalchin Rafiyev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea, Minister of African Integration and Guineans Living Abroad, Morissanda Kouyaté, and issues of bilateral political and economic cooperation were discussed between the parties.
In addition, meetings were held with the leadership of the ministries of agriculture, labor and civil service of this country and the national oil company SONAP.
During these meetings, discussions were held on the directions of cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, the use of minerals and other areas for the development of cooperation between the two countries, and the creation of a legal and contractual framework, and at the same time, extensive information was provided to the other party about Azerbaijan's "ASAN service" concept.
