On July 28, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Azerbaijan MFA told APA.
During the conversation, the parties discussed issues arising from the strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, plans for the implementation of agreements reached as a result of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan on July 2, in the areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the regional situation.
The sides also reviewed preparations for international events organized with the participation of both countries.
In addition, they exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
