Azerbaijani, Turkish Foreign Ministers discuss increasing Azerbaijani gas exports

The increase in the export of Azerbaijani gas to Türkiye and European markets and the cooperation in this regard were discussed, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, APA reports.

Jeyhun Bayramov said that currently, the geography of Azerbaijani gas includes 12 countries: "We hope that in the coming years, the volume of exported Azerbaijani gas and the number of countries it is exported to will expand."

The ministers also discussed the delivery of green energy to Europe.

"There is also very good cooperation potential between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in terms of delivering green energy produced in the Caspian region and Central Asia to the European market," Jeyhun Bayramov said.

The minister noted that he had discussed this issue with his Turkish counterpart as well.
