The Nakhchivan Agreement, whose 15th anniversary we celebrated last year, marked the beginning of our organization’s successful development path, said Prime Minister Ali Asadov at the first meeting of the heads of government and their deputies of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek, APA reports.
Ali Asadov said that during this period, member states have established multifaceted cooperation based on the common history, culture, and language: “Our organization operates in many directions. Its geographical coverage, natural resource potential, and human capital make our organization a body of strategic importance in the international arena. As the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, said, the Organization of Turkic States is the main international organization for us because it is our family. We fully support the increase of our organization’s political and economic influence regionally and globally. Azerbaijan has established strategic partnership or alliance relations on a bilateral basis with all member states of the OTS.”
