On September 23, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, Yusuf Tekin, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of strategic partnership relations between the two countries in all directions, including the field of education.
The commissioning of the new building of the Turkish Anatolian High School in Baku was evaluated as a clear example of effective cooperation in education between the two countries. It was also noted that from the next academic year, an Azerbaijani school will be opened in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Y. Tekin’s visits to Karabakh University, as well as to secondary schools in the cities of Shusha, Fuzuli, and Aghdam, were highlighted with satisfaction.
The importance of the documents signed within the framework of the visit regarding cooperation in the field of education and vocational education was noted.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation in education, including vocational education, the activities of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University, and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
