On September 22, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with Saysana Kotputan, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Press Service of the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
It was noted at the meeting that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Laos.
The good relations between the two countries were emphasized, and the existence of favorable prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and other areas was highlighted.
It was expressed with confidence that the signing of the relevant Memorandum of Understanding within the framework of S. Kotputan's visit will contribute to the development of cooperation between the prosecutorial bodies of the two countries.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, participated in the meeting.
