Today, Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Su Hui, Deputy Chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of the People's Republic of China, Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that as a result of the joint efforts of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, relations between the two countries have been consistently developing on the principles of friendship, mutual respect and strategic partnership.
It was stated that Azerbaijan-China relations have entered a new stage with the signing of the Joint Statement on the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership relations in April of this year.
The importance of President Ilham Aliyev's working visit to the People's Republic of China in late August - early September was noted in terms of further deepening relations between the two countries and expanding multilateral cooperation.
The meeting discussed the prospects for the development of Azerbaijan-China relations in various areas of mutual interest.
