On April 11, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar, Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, APA reports, citing the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan-Qatar relations in various directions, particularly highlighting the high level of cooperation in the field of culture.
The significance of the Qatar Culture Days event, which was launched yesterday in Baku, was discussed, and it was noted that the event provides a great opportunity for Baku residents and guests of the capital to get acquainted with the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Qatari people.
It was also recalled that the Azerbaijan Culture Days were held very successfully in Doha, Qatar's capital, in 2024. The importance of such events in further strengthening the friendship between the two nations and contributing to closer ties between their peoples was emphasized.
The prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar in trade, investment, humanitarian, cultural, tourism, and other areas of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
