Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gvarakidze on July 30, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting noted the successful development of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia, based on mutual trust and the principles of good-neighborly relations.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of productive cooperation between the prosecutorial authorities, as in all other areas.
They emphasized the importance of enhancing joint efforts to combat cross-border crime, cybercrime, and other modern challenges, stressing that the continued exchange of experience and information in areas of mutual interest would further deepen bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also discussed the future prospects for cooperation between the prosecutorial authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev also attended the meeting.
